Billy Eckstine had him a big band full of boppers- Dizzy and Charlie Parker :wub: , Miles Davis and Dexter Gordon.
Billy was also a flashy dresser.
He had those long Mr. B collars I loved and always looked like a million bucks.
When it came to clothes, T- Bone Walker himself was no slouch.
He wore what we called a California jacket- a buttonless model with a belt that wrapped around waist. B) Too cool for words.
I wanted to be cool....
